-Expose students to the importance of “primary sources” outside
of a textbook, this activity may work alongside “Students and Local Historical
Preservation” where students may look at old photographs of events and analyze
printed newspapers of the time.
Using Mystery to Study History.
-Students approach their learning of history as if they were a
detective or “fact finding” looking for information and clues to the truth.
